In the midst of a pandemic, OPSO employees generously supported the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign. A steering committee sold matching Making Strides polo shirts and masks to their coworkers. As a result, Sheriff Marlin Gusman and members of an OPSO steering committee present a check for $5,000 to the ACS's Becca Schick. The donation far exceeded the $3,100 employees raised in the previous campaign on behalf of the ACS.
Sheriff Gusman said, "My staff and I are proud to support the work of the American Cancer Society in curing breast cancer. We look forward to working with you in the future."
